Mixed Draughtsmanship inspired by the carnival. The carnival is a feast celebrated in Christian tradition’s countries (more in those of Catholic tradition) in the period immediately preceding Lent (Quaresima). Main events are indeed between February and March. Considered part of the Christian tradition, characters of celebrations of carnival festivities started in even farer and old origins, for example in Greek’s “Great Dionisie” and Roman’s “Saturnalia”. The romans celebrations were a temporary reversal of social positions, obligations and hierarchies to overthrow order, with joke and general licentiousness. Etymologically the word “carnival” comes from the Latin "carnem levare", popularly translated "carne vale" or "carnasciale", the action of “meat remove”, as it was in ancient times, from the banquet held immediately before the period of abstinence and fasting of Lent. As immediately preceding Lent, the period of celebration varies from year to year, while the duration of the festival may change depending on the tradition of countries from one week to one month.

Restore of an old broken sculpture depicting a young fisherman owned by my family’s doctor. This sculpture had broken in several pieces. I did this rescue with a very accurate restoration using reversible materials and binder to possibly go back to previous situation!
" Cavallo"
! ! " Horse " - This sculpture is made of chalk, carried out by a sculptor of region “Polesine”, a region over PO (nearby Rovigo): Gino Colognesi. I restored it for a friend. This sculpture was cut into pieces by craftsmen of a foundry to create print and make copies. Its height is around 50 cm. Sculpture of high quality, This restore is reversible, materials used enable to decompose again all different parts
